I. Data protection for children

It is important to dtp entertainment AG that children are also able to use this website. Registration is required to access members’ areas and this involves sending us personal information. We advise children to discuss this with their parents before sending us any personal information during the registration process. Applicants under 14 years of age must also seek the consent of their parent or legal guardian before registering with this website. We do not allow children under 14 years of age to register with this website. dtp entertainment AG does not intentionally record data from children under 14 years of age. dtp entertainment AG does not offer any products for purchase by minors. Our products for children can also only be purchased by adults.

We recommend that parents or legal guardians monitor the online activities of their children, e.g. by setting parental controls as provided by online services and software manufacturers, to ensure children can surf the net safely. Such parental controls can also prevent children divulging personal details over the Internet without parental consent.

II. What kind of information is collected, how is it collected and why?

This privacy policy covers personal information, registration of non-personal information and reports gathered for statistical analyses.

1. Non-personal information When you visit our websites, our web server temporarily saves details of each visit to a log file. It records the following information and saves it until its automated deletion:

Quantity of data transferred
Notification of whether the retrieval was successful

This information is processed to allow a connection to the website to be established, for system security, technical administration of the network infrastructure, and to improve the Internet service provided. IP addresses will only be used by us when the dtp entertainment AG network infrastructure is accessed.

According to § 15 para. 3 of the Telemediengesetz [German Telecommunications Media Act (TMG)], the use of user profiles under a pseudonym is permissible, provided the user agrees to this. 1. Use of the personal information

a) Newsletters and press release distributors

To sign up for a newsletter from dtp entertainment AG, we require the e-mail address to which it is to be sent. Any other information you provide is voluntary and will be used to address you personally and to resolve any queries regarding the e-mail address. We require your postal address for deliveries by post. For press release distributors, we require details of the press organisation at which you are employed so that we know we are sending to a genuine press release distributor.

For newsletter distribution, we use what is known as the “double opt-in” process. This means that we only send you the newsletter after you confirm the newsletter order via a link contained in an e-mail we sent to you. This ensures that only the user belonging to the e-mail address provided can sign up for the newsletter. This confirmation must be carried out as soon as the e-mail is received, otherwise the registration and e-mail address will be deleted from our database. Until confirmation is received from you, our newsletter service will not accept any more registrations from an e-mail address already provided.

b) Guest books and forums

Registering with a service of this type can only be completed once the registration has been confirmed via a link contained in an e-mail sent by us; this procedure is in line with newsletter registration and is for your protection.

c) Orders

In the event that information is ordered, we shall use the address details provided only to process the order. We shall not forward these details to third parties.

d) Technical support/customer service

When you contact customer service, dtp entertainment AG can collect and temporarily save personal information that you have voluntarily sent us by e-mail. For example there is a link on this website which the online user can follow to contact customer service by filling in a contact form or sending an e-mail.
